Loose fitting tank style dress with wide scoop neckline
Irregular shaped piece of material fixed to waist, resembling the outline of Lake Chad
Material can hang loosely or be tied around body to create a more fitted silhouette
Fine babylock stitch across all edges
Made from wild silk, giving fabric a naturally slubbed texture
Fabric is undyed

Lake Chad is shared by the four countries sur- rounding it; Chad, Cameroon, Niger, and Nigeria. Today the lake is almost dried out, the shape we use is the latest shoreline, recorded in the 1960s.
